Welcome to La Hora Dorada. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of lahoradorada.com (the "Site"), operated by Three Bees LLC, a Washington limited liability company ("La Hora Dorada," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Who can use the Site

The Site is intended for adults planning travel. You may use it if you can form a binding contract under the law of your jurisdiction. The Site is not directed to children under 16, and you must be at least the age of majority where you live to make any purchase through a link on the Site.

2. What the Site is, and what it isn't

La Hora Dorada publishes informational travel guides, cost tools, and recommendations, with a focus on getting the logistics right. We work hard to verify the facts and we show you a "Last verified" date and a link to the official source on the things that matter.

Please read this important information carefully:

  • Our content is informational only. It is not legal, financial, tax, insurance, immigration, or professional travel advice, and it is not official. We are not a government body and we don't speak for one.
  • Rules change, sometimes quickly. Entry fees, exemptions, registration requirements, ticketing rules, prices, and regulations can change after we publish or verify a page. The "Last verified" date tells you when we last checked a fact. It is not a guarantee that the fact is still current when you read it.
  • Before you act, confirm it at the official source. We link the official government or operator source on the claims that carry consequences (fees, fines, exemptions, registration) precisely so you can verify it yourself. You are responsible for confirming current requirements before you travel, pay, or rely on anything here.
  • We make no warranty that any information on the Site is accurate, complete, or current, and we are not liable for fines, denied entry, missed bookings, extra costs, or other losses arising from reliance on the Site. Your travel decisions are your own.

3. Affiliate links and third-party services

When you click a link to a third party (an eSIM provider, insurer, tour operator, booking platform, government portal, or any other site), you leave our Site and deal with that third party directly. Recommendations on the Site reflect our editorial judgment, not personalized advice for your specific situation. In particular, when we mention travel insurance or financial products, we're describing and linking options, not advising you on what's suitable for you and your specific situation.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content (text, guides, tools, data sets, design, logos, and the "La Hora Dorada" name and visual system) are owned by Three Bees LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

You may read, share links to, and make personal, non-commercial use of our content. You may not:

  • copy, republish, scrape, or redistribute substantial portions of the Site;
  • use our content to train machine-learning models or build a competing dataset or product;
  • use automated systems to harvest content; or
  • use our name, logo, or branding without our written permission.

Brief quotation with clear attribution and a link is welcome.

5. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • interfere with, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its infrastructure;

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us to use the Site, which for a free site is zero.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Three Bees LLC and its members, officers, and contributors from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

9. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the mandatory law of your home country gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.

10. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be made obvious on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. General

  • If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver of it.
  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
  • You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor (for example, in connection with a business transfer).
